Welcome
Lang Historical Research is a professional genealogical and
historical research service located in Fresno, California. As a
member of the Association of Professional Genealogists, Lang
Historical Research adheres strictly to the APG Code of Ethics.
Lang Historical
Research is owned by Ruth Lang. Ruth is a Board-certified
Genealogist(SM),writer and speaker. Ruth is also the
Director of Administration and Operations for the Fresno
Historical Society. Previously, she served as an archive assistant
and researcher for the Society. She has presented workshops and
lectures for regional conferences, historical societies,
libraries, and organizations. Due to the demands of her current
position, Ruth continues to accept lecture requests, writing
assignments and teach workshops and classes, but is unable to take
research requests. However, she still enjoys hearing from people
who have ancestral ties to the Central Valley.
